Joe Strauss states in his 1991 Chiropractic Philosophy Book, “Analysis includes methodology for determining the absence or presence of vertebral subluxation within the spine, determining the location of the subluxation, ascertaining a listing that can present a picture in the mind of the chiropractor of the manner in which the vertebrae has moved, and finally a method of post-checking after the adjustment to determine that a corrective force has been introduced. The correction or adjustment is, quite simply, the method employed to introduce an adjustive thrust into the spine which the innate intelligence of the body can use to correct a vertebral subluxation.”
