“All scientific disciplines, chiropractic, physics, chemistry, biology, psychology, etc., have basic and applied aspects. Again, basic science is more basic in the sense that without discovery of PRINCIPLES…there is nothing to apply. Applied science relies on and could not exist without basic science. For example, aviation uses two bars laws, the law of gravity and the law of aerodynamic (lift and thrust) and applies it to its objective which is flying. In the same way, chiropractic uses two basic laws, the law of organization (universal intelligence) and the law of ACTIVE organization (innate intelligence) and applies its objective which is to locate, analyze and facilitate the correction of vertebral subluxations for a full expression fo the innate forces of the innate intelligence of the body Period.” — Claude Lessard, DC
In Today’s TIC, we’re going to grow in our understanding on Principle 1 of the Chiropractic 33 Principles.
R.W. Stephenson, DC presented the core principles of chiropractic and in the process of presenting the principles he relied upon deductive reasoning. We’re going to discuss the first principle and save the rest for a later discussion. Ralph Stephenson, DC started with a major premise that cannot be denied before he started deducing the rest of the principles.
“The Major Premise” – A Universal Intelligence is in all matter and continually gives to it all its properties and actions, thus maintaining it in existence.
